Strength Balance and Technique Program

PHYSICAL STRENGTH, BALANCE AND TECHNIQUE PROGRAM

The program consists of fifteen different exercises which target major muscle groups that are used in soccer.

Each exercise has been designed so that it incorporates an aspect of strength, balance and technique at the same time to make it a soccer specific exercise. Each exercise will be performed for 45 seconds. If the exercise requires you to use one leg, you will also need to repeat on the other leg. The exercises will be performed in order without rest from one set to the next.

 

STRENGTH GOALS:
You are able to perform each set without compromising the perfect body position for that specific exercise.

 

BALANCE GOALS:
Improve balance to the point where you are able to maintain the proper posture without swaying from one side to the other.

 

TECHNIQUE GOALS:
Go through workout without making technical errors (perform each repetition without error by placing ball into the partner's hands).
